Day 07 With this piece I started off with a central radial element which was used for the base of the composition . From the center I worked the composition by spontaneously adding a limited palette of solid fill colors. Once a substantial base was established, shading detail was added. But later, I found the composition could be worked on more, so a layer was made above all the elements already made and more fill object were added. New colors were added to create interest, these are pink, green and white. Then shading was added again on new layer on the top of the layer stack. When happy with the composition and detail shading, ‘flyoff’ details were added with either the pen tool or custom made art brushes. These too were shaded with shades and tints of the their respective base color’s with the pen tool.
